Description and Primary Responsibilities:

-The Water Quality Review Committee consists of at least four Commissioners, including the Chairmen of the Pollution Control Standards Committee and the Technical Committee. 

-The Committee assists the Commission and its committees in identifying water quality problems, seeing that corrective action is undertaken, and monitoring progress in solving water quality problems. 

-The Committee also assesses the recommendations of the Technical Committee and staff as related to the Commission's established water quality policies, provides interpretive guidance as needed, and assists in the implementation of technical initiatives and programs.
