RiverWatchers

RiverWatchers is a citizen volunteer monitoring program for the Ohio River and selected tributaries. RiverWatchers was started as a pilot project in 1992 by the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO).

RiverWatchersThe program currently includes over 25 groups in six Ohio River Basin states. These groups include school groups and citizens who are concerned about water quality issues.  RiverWatchers collect water quality data throughout the year and submit their results to ORSANCO.  For more information on this program or how to get involved, click below:
