Saturday, October 4th | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

In preparation for the region’s largest river event — the America’s River Roots Festival — regional volunteers, Rotary International clubs, local partners, and neighbors will unite for one of the largest ORSANCO Ohio River Sweep Cleanups Greater Cincinnati has seen in years.

This special edition Ohio River Sweep will take place Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with over 15 sites along Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky riverbanks.

The combined effort brings together three powerful missions to make a lasting impact:

• America’s River Roots Festival celebrates the culture, vitality, and resources of the Ohio River and its communities — past, present, and future.
• ORSANCO’s Ohio River Sweep, organized in partnership with the Foundation for Ohio River Education (FORE), has removed hundreds of tons of trash since 1989, stopping litter at the source and protecting drinking water for over 5 million people AND the creatures who thrive in it!
• Rotary International’s Environmental Focus, through local clubs and the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG), turns local action into global impact.
