Life Below the Waterline
The 2,200 gallon freshwater mobile aquarium features fish of the Ohio River. This educational display travels to events within the Ohio River Basin each year, highlighting the importance of the Ohio River Basin; including being home to over half of the fish diversity of North America and providing drinking and recreational opportunities to 30 million citizens. All fish are captured using electrofishing and are returned following each exhibit.
Sponsorships pay for aquarium supplies, maintenance, and staff time for events. Funding permits lower costs or free programming for select events.
